St Ives Jazz Club happens every Tuesday at the Western Hotel, Royal Square, St Ives.
Inside the venue, there's
• a friendly, candle-lit ambience
• a fully licensed bar at pub prices
• ample seating and standing room
• wheelchair access (please call us in advance so we can arrange to meet and guide you in).
Musicians love playing here. We've had lots of good comments about the on-stage sound and the friendly vibe from the audience - so you can be sure the band will be givin' it some!!
From a performance point of view, there's
• a quality Kawai six-foot grand piano
• an eight-channel Dynacord 600 watt PA system
• good acoustics
• a dedicated stage area
Gig prices can vary, so please see the What's On page. We don't usually sell tickets in advance, just turn up on the night, but if you contact us in advance, we'll make sure you won't be turned away if we're full.
We offer discounts for group bookings, contact us for details.
Overnighting
If you're staying in the hotel, you can get into the Jazz Club for the members' price - simply bring along your key as evidence. And, subject to room availability, if you're going to the Jazz Club and fancy staying at the hotel, you'll get a 10% discount on your room for that night. You can check in from 2.00pm, enjoy an afternoon in St Ives, a few drinks in the bar, the gig, and a full English breakfast the next morning! Please contact the hotel for full details.

Parking
The nearest pay and display is on Park Avenue, about 100 metres from the Western (see our map). We don't recommend the other nearby car park on The Stennack unless you like getting clamped.
Playing at St Ives Jazz Club
Programming is planned on a quarterly basis, three to six months in advance. For players new to us, we prefer mailed CDs to on-line recordings. Contact us for details.
