COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
We hope you are all keeping safe and well - we have been thinking of you during this difficult time!
We have missed being able to get together and enjoy live jazz together and we are delighted, on careful consideration of the current government guidance, to be able to offer our first gigs since the UK lockdown, in partnership with our venue The Western Hotel.
In order to ensure that social distancing is followed, The Western Hotel is now operating the club room as a restaurant and bar with table service, with tables being removed around the stage area to comply with government guidance and best practice. NB The Kettle and Wink bar downstairs is currently closed.
This means that entrance during this time will be FREE/Pay What You Can (we will give you a chance to contribute either on the door or at your table at some point during the evening), with tables being allocated on a first come first served basis.
There are a reasonable number of tables available but please come early to avoid disappointment. Tables are well spaced and the area is fully ventilated with the option of sitting outdoors in the beer garden. It’s not a requirement to buy food, but there’s a good range of pub grub on offer which makes for an relaxing evening! There are also some single chairs for those who prefer that (appropriately distanced).
We are currently working on bringing back our full programme, so while we are still slightly sporadic in events, never fear: we will be back up and running as soon as possible!
